Terms of service.
Last updated August 31, 2026
These terms govern work with Ridgeline Dev. Submitting a brief costs nothing and commits you to nothing; an engagement begins only when you accept a written proposal and pay the deposit it specifies.
How engagements work
Every engagement is fixed-scope: the written proposal defines the deliverables, the price and the timeline, and is the document that controls. All communication is asynchronous, by email. Builds take a 50% deposit to begin, with the balance due before launch; the Strategy Memo is paid in full upfront.
Your side
You’re responsible for supplying content and materials you have the right to use, for timely written feedback at the review points in the proposal, and for having the authority to commit the project budget.
Ownership
On full payment, the final deliverables are yours. We retain our pre-existing tools and techniques, and we won’t showcase your work publicly without your permission.
Fixes and liability
Website builds include a 14-day post-launch fix window for defects in what we shipped. Beyond what a proposal states, our total liability on an engagement is capped at the fees paid for it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
